Terms & Coaching Agreement
Plain language, no legalese. This explains how coaching works, what it is and isn't, and what to expect before we begin. Last updated October 10, 2026.
About these terms
- These terms cover how NeuroNurture works with coaching clients and how this website is used. They're written in plain language — no hidden fine print.
- By reaching out, booking a session, or working with me, you agree to what's here. If anything is unclear, email me before we begin and I'll explain it.
- Last updated October 10, 2026. I may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the most recent revision.
The coaching relationship & scope
- Coaching is a forward-focused, goal-oriented partnership. It's collaborative support for everyday executive function, energy, and life design — not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, or clinical treatment.
- As a coach, I do not diagnose, treat, assess, or prescribe for any medical, mental-health, or developmental condition. Coaching is not a substitute for care from a licensed healthcare professional.
- If a clinical need arises during our work, I'll encourage you to connect with an appropriately licensed provider. I can help you think through next steps, but I cannot provide clinical care.
- I practice within the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics and Core Competencies.
How we work together
- Sessions are held remotely, typically by video call. Camera on or off, moving around, fidgeting, and doodling are all welcome — come as you are.
- A typical session begins with a short energy check and your agenda, so we plan around the capacity you actually have that day. You leave with 1–3 small next steps, each with a first physical move, followed by a recap email from me with your session notes.
- The free starter toolkit (the Friction-to-Flow Map, Energy Tracker, and Weekly Retrospective) is delivered when you sign up for coaching.
- Coaching works best as a partnership. Your honest participation — including telling me what isn't working — is what makes it effective.
Fees & payment
- 1-on-1 coaching is from $33.33 per session. Specific session length, package, and payment details are agreed before your first paid session.
- The initial discovery call is free, with no obligation to continue.
- Payment is arranged in advance of scheduled sessions through the method we agree on together.
Scheduling, rescheduling & cancellation
- If you need to reschedule or cancel a session, please give at least 24 hours' notice so the time can be offered to someone else.
- Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged at the agreed rate, except in genuine emergencies — just let me know what happened.
- I'll give you the same courtesy if I ever need to reschedule.
Confidentiality & its limits
- What you share in coaching stays confidential. This is a core part of my coaching ethics.
- Confidentiality has defined limits: if there's a serious risk to your safety or someone else's, or if the law requires disclosure, I may need to share relevant information with the appropriate people or services.
- These limits exist to keep you and others safe. We can talk through them at any time.
Outcomes & ending coaching
- Coaching is a collaborative process, and results depend on many factors — including your own engagement and circumstances. I don't guarantee specific outcomes.
- You can pause or end coaching at any time, for any reason. You don't need to explain why if you'd rather not.
- If I believe your needs fall outside the scope of coaching, I'll say so honestly and help you consider other options, including connecting with a licensed professional.
Digital tools, content & intellectual property
- The digital tools (Friction-to-Flow Map, Energy Tracker, and Weekly Retrospective) are free to keep and are provided for your personal, non-clinical reflection. They are not diagnostic or clinical instruments.
- The articles and tools are provided 'as is' for educational and reflective use. They don't create a coaching or clinical relationship on their own.
- NeuroNurture retains the rights to its content and tools. You're welcome to download and use them for yourself; please don't redistribute, resell, or pass them off as your own.
Acceptable use, disputes & changes
- Please engage respectfully. I won't continue a coaching relationship or correspondence that's abusive, threatening, or harassing.
- If something isn't working, raise it with me directly first — most concerns are resolved with an honest conversation.
- These terms are offered in good faith. If a dispute can't be resolved through conversation, we'll work toward a fair, informal resolution.
- I may update these terms as the practice grows; the 'last updated' date will reflect any change.
