Ethics and boundaries.
At NeuroNurture, coaching is built on trust. These are the commitments I make to every client — and the clear line between what coaching is and what it isn't.
Ethics and boundaries
At NeuroNurture, coaching is built on trust.
These are the commitments I make to every client.
Respect, honesty, and fairness
I treat every client with respect, tell the truth, and hold everyone to the same standard of fairness. Your pace, your communication style, and the way your brain works are never treated as problems to fix.
Clear professional boundaries
Coaching is a focused, goal-oriented partnership. We keep sessions to the work you came here for, and I'll tell you plainly if something falls outside my role.
Code of ethics
My coaching is guided by professional ethical principles. I treat every client with respect, honesty, and fairness, hold clear professional boundaries, and never diagnose, treat, or offer clinical care. Coaching is not therapy and is not a substitute for it.
Coaching is not therapy
I do not diagnose, treat, or offer clinical care, and I don't provide medical or mental health advice. I can support skills, routines, self-understanding, and follow-through. I can't diagnose ADHD, autism, or any other condition, and coaching is not a substitute for professional care.
Confidentiality & its limits
What you share in coaching stays private. I don't sell or share your information with third parties. I only share it with the secure tools needed to run our sessions, such as scheduling and video, and never for marketing. The only exceptions are where safety requires it: if there's a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or where I'm legally required to report. I'll talk with you first whenever I safely can.
Your choices
You set the agenda. You decide what to share, what to work on, and whether coaching is the right fit. You can pause or end our work at any time without explanation.
Not a substitute for clinical care. Coaching is a forward-focused, goal-oriented partnership — not psychotherapy, medical care, or clinical treatment. If your needs fall outside the scope of coaching, I'll help you think through connecting with an appropriately licensed provider. If you are in crisis or in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line right away (in the U.S., call or text 988).
Common question
What are your professional standards and ethics?
My coaching is guided by professional ethical principles. I treat every client with respect, honesty, and fairness, hold clear professional boundaries, and never diagnose, treat, or offer clinical care. Coaching is not therapy and is not a substitute for it. That means a clear coaching agreement, strict confidentiality with defined safety limits, respect for your autonomy, and a firm boundary that I coach — I don't diagnose, treat, or offer clinical care. You can pause or end coaching at any time. See the Ethics and Boundaries section above for the full picture.
